Prime 2.0 offers seven standard roof shapes as a starting point, including single-pitch, hip, gable and L-shaped layouts, and can be adapted into genuinely custom designs. Roof pitches run from 5 degrees right up to 45 degrees.
That flexibility makes Prime 2.0 a strong option for retrofitting an existing patio, integrating a new roof into a planned extension, or covering a balcony where a rectangular canopy simply will not sit right.
What Wall Connection Options Do You Get?
Prime 2.0 comes with four wall connection designs: a single-part profile for fast fitting, a two-part profile for steeper pitches, a self-supporting connection for insulated facades, and a dedicated balcony connection.
Each connection is supplied largely ready to install, so your fitting team spends less time adapting parts on site and more time getting your roof up and watertight.
How Large Can A Prime 2.0 Roof Span?
Prime 2.0 spans up to 6.7m without a middle post or steel insert, with larger spans possible using a middle post or reinforced eaves beam. Roof depth reaches up to 5.5m without steel, and more with it.
Four eaves beam sizes (130, 170, 205 and 240) let your installer match the beam to the roof you actually need, rather than over-specifying a heavier structure than necessary.
Is Prime 2.0 Stable Before The Glass Goes In?
A specially designed steel joint between the eaves beam and post gives Prime 2.0 full structural stability even before any glazing is fitted. The frame is genuinely rigid from the moment it goes up.
The system also complies with the recognised structural safety standard for glazing, so you get a roof that is engineered properly rather than just assembled to look right.
What Design And Lighting Options Are There?
Prime 2.0 has a modern, angular cover as standard, and can be finished with a roof overhang of up to 1.5m for extra protection over doors and windows below. LED lighting fits flush into the rafters with a plug-and-play connection.
With 28 standard colours plus a fully custom colour service, Prime 2.0 can be finished to match your house exactly rather than the nearest standard shade.
