This is a flexible modular building. The wall panels allow you to choose where the double doors go during assembly.

You can position access to suit a path, side return, or narrow space. This makes it easier to use every day, not just on paper.

The bike store uses a deep footprint and wide double doors to make moving bikes in and out much easier.

There’s no need to twist handlebars or lift bikes awkwardly. It’s designed around how bikes are actually used.

Why choose a windowless bike store?

This building is windowless by design.

That improves security and keeps the interior private. It’s ideal if the bike store is visible from a path or shared access area.

Is the build strong enough for daily use?

The walls are made from 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding fixed to a 28mm x 44mm timber frame.

The roof and floor also use 12mm tongue and groove boards, giving the whole structure a solid, dependable feel.

What about weather protection and care?

The pent roof is finished with grey mineral felt to help rain run off cleanly.

The bike store is supplied with a temporary water-based treatment. You’ll need to treat it inside and out shortly after assembly and reapply treatment each year to keep the timber protected.
