How does the flexible layout help you?
This summerhouse uses a modular panel system. That means doors and windows are not fixed to one position.
You can place them where they make most sense for your garden. Catch the sun. Face a view. Avoid fences. It’s your call at assembly.
Why does full pane glazing make such a difference?
The full-length glazed doors and windows let in light from top to bottom.
This makes the inside feel open and airy, even on cloudy days. It’s ideal if you want to read, relax, or just enjoy your garden without feeling boxed in.
How sturdy is the build?
The walls are made from 12mm shiplap tongue and groove boards, fixed to a 28mm x 44mm timber frame.
This gives the building strength and helps keep draughts down. The same 12mm tongue and groove boards are used for both the roof and floor, so everything feels solid underfoot.
Is the glass safe and secure?
Yes. All glazing is 3mm toughened glass.
It’s stronger than standard glass and designed to break safely if damaged. The double doors also come with a lock and key, so you can close up confidently when you’re not using it.
What about weather protection?
The apex roof is finished with grey mineral felt, which helps shed rain effectively.
The summerhouse is supplied with a temporary water-based treatment. You’ll need to apply a quality wood preserver after assembly and reapply it each year to keep the timber protected.
