A heavy-duty louvred pergola designed for larger outdoor spaces and flexible layouts.
Some gardens and terraces need more than a standard pergola footprint. Larger patios, outdoor dining areas, and combined seating zones require wider spans and greater structural flexibility.
The Deluxe Pod is the original UK-made louvred roof pergola, built by Caribbean Blinds in Suffolk and winners of the BBSA Excellence Award 2026. It offers the largest opening-roof system in the range without moving to a retractable roof design, made to measure in any classic RAL colour with a woodlook oak effect available for the louvres.
The Deluxe Pod uses a motorised aluminium louvred roof with rotating blades that interlock when closed to form a watertight covering.
The louvres rotate up to 150°, allowing precise control over sunlight, airflow, and ventilation while maintaining protection from the elements. Rated to Beaufort 12, the closed roof stays put through wind, rain and snow - unlike an awning, there is no need to retract it when the weather turns.

The Deluxe Pod is built around a reinforced extruded aluminium framework designed to support wider spans and larger roof areas, with a marine grade powder-coated finish for longevity.
This makes it suitable for expansive seating areas, outdoor dining spaces, and layouts where fewer posts and clearer open zones are required. Posts can be inset from the corners and additional posts added to create doorways or roof overhangs.
The Deluxe Pod is made to measure in 1cm increments, from 2.5m x 1.5m up to 7.0m in length and 4.5m in width, and multiple units can be linked together to cover extensive spaces.
The 4.5m width is available up to 6.0m length; at the full 7.0m length the maximum width is 4.0m. It can stand freestanding, attach lean-to against the property, or be supplied roof-only within an existing structure.
We can advise on suitable sizes, layouts, and column positions before quoting.

Every option is integrated within the framework and operated from the same remote as the roof. Add them to your specification using the options above, or contact us for guidance.
Optional side screens are integrated within the cross beams and lower to reduce wind and low sun while maintaining airflow, stopping at any position. Rated to Beaufort 6.
Screens use the Sattler Twilight fabric collection - choose Comfort (dimout, you can see through it) or Elements (full blockout) across eight colourways: Black, Cement, Platinum, Smoke, Slate, Taupe, Steel and Graphite.

Glass sliding panels turn the open sides of the pergola into a sheltered outdoor room you can use year round. Rated to Beaufort 12, they combine with fabric screens across other sides for full enclosure.
Note that infra-red heaters cannot be fitted on sides fitted with sliding panels.
Dimmable warm white LED strips sit within the roof louvres, with the option of warm white perimeter down lighting and colour changing RGB up lighting around the inside of the cross beams.
All lighting is dimmable and controlled from the same remote as the roof, extending comfortable use into the evening without any visible fittings.

Cross-beam mounted 1.5kw infra-red heaters provide instant, directional warmth to the space beneath without heating the surrounding air, extending use into cooler evenings and the shoulder seasons.
Heaters are not compatible with sides fitted with sliding panels.
Unlike other suppliers, you get a completely flush base plate with completely hidden fixings.
Optional preparation for lighting, heating, or power within the structure.
The frame is finished in any classic RAL colour, matt, matt textured or semi gloss, with a woodlook natural oak effect available for the louvres.
