Both work well year-round when chosen properly. Browse the range below to find the right structure for your space.

View full detailsA gazebo is a freestanding structure that can sit anywhere in the garden. It creates a defined outdoor space — somewhere to eat, relax, or entertain — without being attached to the house. Most have open sides and a solid or polycarbonate roof.
A veranda attaches to the house and covers the area directly outside a door or set of French doors. It extends your living space outward and keeps you dry when moving between inside and outside.
Wooden gazebos and verandas suit more traditional gardens and period properties. They need occasional maintenance — a coat of stain or sealant every few years — but age well and develop character over time.
Aluminium structures are lower maintenance and better suited to modern spaces. They won’t warp, rot, or rust, and the powder-coated finish keeps them looking sharp for years.
Start with how you’ll use the space. A gazebo for a couple of chairs needs far less room than one designed for a full dining setup.
As a guide, a 3m × 3m footprint works well for four chairs and a small table. A 4m × 4m or larger gives you space for proper dining or entertaining.
